going back to school
If I had one piece of advice to give it would be to continue your education after highschool. It is so easy to do at that stage of your life becuase it is expected. The older you get the more financial obligations you have, and thus it gets harder and harder to go back to school. After three children, a house and many pets, it has been a very difficult experience, and I wish often it ia as easy as it was the first time around.

Before and after school programs
There is something wrong with the picture when you finally get to stop paying daycare because your child starts school full time, and then you are forced to pay before and after school fees. In this day and age it seems both parents need to work, to have any kind of finical comfort. The only issue is the responsibility of the children often still falls in the mothers lap, and she is forced to juggle so many things. It may seem like as long as your kids are over the age of six, child care is taken care of, but that is so wrong. I do not know of any 9-3 job, in which before and after school programs come into play. a typical daycare day costs around $30 per day, and once they are in school, a before and after school program costs $15 per day. Some schools have started offering before and after school programs, which is a step in the right direction. However, is it really the schools responsibility to take care of our children for up to ten hours a day? Just some food for thought

Lethal cleaning products?
In a world of hyper consciousness, and being a parent you start to analyze everything you do with your children. From what they eat, to how many hormones they are getting in their meat and milk to what you clean your house with. I really want to know if all the rumours of the various cleaning products are true. I have heard that the swifter wet jet is poisonous to animals, and that Mr. Clean Magic Easers are made of formaldehyde. I wonder if it is just a scare tactic to increase the sales of alturnative products, or if there is really some bearing in the rumours. Just to be on the safe side, I personally wash all my floors with dish detergent. I figure if they can eat off of it, they can play on it. For everything else I use an all-natural all purpose cleaner.

uncertain of blogs
OK, I have labeled all my blogs with as many relevant words I can think of. I have asked questions in my blogs, perhaps daring people to make comments. I still cant seem to increase the viewership of my blog. I am new at this and getting a little frustrated. How come when I search the labels I used, or my name, my blog doesn't come up. Even when I search google blogs, and type in my title I still cant find it. I don't know where the 28 people who read my blog are finding it! lol

christmas, christmas, christmas
When traveling and planning trips over the holidays, it is important to discuss where to spend Christmas and the sentimental value of spending Christmas at home. I have always thought there was nothing sweater than Christmas morning in Canada with snow. Unfortunately, my family feels differently. So every other Christmas we have decided to spend Christmas day in Florida. The bad part is, as a mother I find myself feeling incredibly guilty for robbing my children of their white Christmas. Any thoughts?

My Sunday
SO I took the kids to go see Bolt on the weekend. Myself , my three kids, and a friend who has two boys managed to take five kids under the age of seven to a crowded movie theatre. Our biggest feat? We actually managed to bring them all home! After spilt popcorn, 5, yes 5 bathroom breaks and two spilt drinks, the movie finally ended. As we looked at each other, we shook our heads and again asked ourselves why we continue to torture ourselves.
The best part of the movie was the two women sitting beside us. These women came to a movie theatre, where there were about 200 assorted children and their parents. These women had no children, and yet chose to sit beside us, and then huffed and sighed every time we needed to be excused from our row. Theses two women laughed harder at the funny parts and louder than any of the children. It was almost more comical to watch them then the movie.
That is how I spent my Sunday, and I am sure given two weeks to forget, I may even embark on the journey again.

how come children have no sense of urgency?
I have three kids and it has recently occurred to me that my children have no sense of urgency. No matter how much of a hurry I am in, they seem to move at the same speed. Actually, I think if I mention I am in a hurry, they may even move slower.
This thought is in conjunction with the fact that these are the same children who I cant seem to wake up for the life of me from Monday to Friday; however when Saturday morning comes along, the first in which I can sleep in past six, they mysteriously get the urge to become morning people. Morning people with the urge to wake up around 5:45-6:00. It is incomprehensible to me that I am forced to get up at 6 on weekdays, and when I get to sleep in, I somehow am forced to get up earlier.

midol add
I was recently informed of the controversial commercial aired on the Midol website. It supposedly offended mothers who carried their babies in baby carriers. I do not think this commercial was at all offensive. I need to know why anyone would be offended.
I carried my babies in a carrier from the get go. It is the best way to calm a colicky baby, and the easiest way to get stuff done. The commercial lends itself to the fact women bare the pain of carrying their babies to look stylish or to fit the mold of a cool mom. Mothers are seriously being just a little sensitive. Come one where is your sense of humour?

No good deed goes unpunished
Okay, I have to post, I have to post!
but what to post about?
I have a family member that really upset me, and the only way I can vent about it without hurting specific familymembers, is to blog. I put myself and my family out to help someone. Someone whom I thought was very close to me, someone whom I had thought was very close. What happened? She screwed me over, and now I look liek the bad guy, just goes to show you no good deed goes unpunished
